POSA Joins the Aequus Collective.

The Pend Oreille Sports Association, home of the Pend Oreille Pines, has been welcomed into USL Spokane’s Aequus Collective, in partnership with the Spokane Velocity FC and Spokane Zephyr FC.

For our players and families here in Pend Oreille County, this partnership shines a light on what we are building together. It connects our local program with Spokane’s professional clubs and places the Pines’ story on a bigger stage, giving our kids, coaches, and volunteers the recognition they deserve.

As part of the Aequus Collective, the Pines will:

• Host a table at Velocity and Zephyr home matches, bringing the spirit of our community to the professional stage.
• Be featured on club websites and receive recognition during matches.
• Give our players opportunities each year to connect with professional athletes and staff through volunteer events.
• Join a network of nonprofits across the region that are committed to youth, wellness, and inclusion.

Most importantly, this partnership makes the world of professional soccer more accessible to our youth. It opens doors for our kids to experience that bigger stage firsthand, to see that their effort and passion here at home can carry them into new places and possibilities.

This moment isn’t just about soccer. It’s about showing that the heart of a small community can inspire far and wide. Every child who pulls on a Pines jersey can now see that they are part of something recognized across the region.
